Wedding Photograhy FAQs

How far in advance do I need to book my wedding?

We recommend booking with us six to nine months in advance. Should you not be planning this far ahead, please contact us to see if your date is still available.

How much time should we set aside for family portrait photos/wedding couple photos?

This answer will be a direct reflection of how large your families are. If you have a large family and would like family shots incorporating several different groupings, a larger amount of time should be set aside. At the bare minimum, we usually request an hour and a half to shoot family portraits, bridal party photos and portraits of the bride and groom.

We are so excited to get pictures. How long does it take for you to work your magic?

Depending on the time of year, you can expect your wedding photos as soon as 4 to 6 weeks.  Most times we are able to speed that up!

Do You Photoshop?

Yes.  We always try to get your best angle on camera. Each picture is edited for white balance, exposure, cropping, but if the work is complex and extensive we quote that separately.

Do you give raw unedited pictures?

No we don’t. We believe that editing is half the magic that goes into images and without this huge step the images are only halfway done.

What is the deposit/retainer?

There is a 25% retainer to book your wedding date with us. Please see our Wedding Photography Package.

How do payment schedules work?

After the initial 25% wedding photography retainer the remaining balance is due two weeks before the wedding day.

Where are you based out of? Do you travel to destination weddings?

We are based in Miramichi New Brunswick and would travel anywhere within the city or surrounding towns and villages.  We can also accommodate destinations outside of the Miramichi area such as Moncton, Fredericton, St. John, Halifax etc. for additional costs.

Destination weddings are also possible. Keep in mind that travel expenses, accommodation, and sometimes even extra equipment or personnel might be necessary for out-of-town or destination weddings. We will provide you with a transparent breakdown of these additional costs so that there are no surprises.

I am committed to turning your special moments into timeless treasures. Your wedding day is a tapestry of love, laughter and shared dreams. Through my lens, I aim to weave these threads into a visual story that will stand the test of time.
